First Week of School

What a week! Preschool experienced an exciting first day, being welcomed to the Primary School by Second Grade. There were definitely some nerves but the School Cone filled with presents was worth leaving mum and dad in the audience for.

So many new things; away from the downstairs corridors and upstairs, where all of sudden their neighbours are third, fourth and FIFTH graders! Not only a new classroom, but a new teacher that has so so many rules. However, Preschool did a wonderful job accepting these challenges. They put on brave faces and started Preschool with eager attitudes, definitely not scared of working and playing hard.

Some highlights from this jam packed first week include the caterpillars, playing with lego and "making people."

Being good sharers and being caring have been highlighted as being extremely important. Preschool practiced walking down the corridors and the stairs, remembering that other students are working and that they always need to remember to respect their school.

What a great week for Preschool! Have a great weekend and please don't forget to pack your child's Swim Kit ready for Monday.
